ValueRail™ Policies, Procedures and Instructions

Warranty Policy

ValueRail Pro™ warrants its manufactured guard rail to be free of defects and to perform in accordance with the specified design criteria for one (1) year from date of shipment.

This warranty is valid only if the ValueRail guard rail has been installed in complete accordance with ValueRail Pro™ specifications.

Improprieties including but not limited to overloading, abuse, negligence, or failure to maintain the guard rail properly, will void the warranty.

ValueRail Pro™ shall not in any event be liable for any damages, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, including without limitation any consequential, incidental or special damages, arising with respect to the equipment or its failure to operate, even if ValueRail Pro™has been advised of the possibility thereof.

ValueRail Pro™ makes no other warranty or representation of any kind except that of title, and all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby expressly disclaimed.

Return Policy

All cancellations and returns require prior approval by a ValueRail Pro™ representative and shipping costs must be prepaid. Returned material must be received in good condition and must pass incoming inspection before credit can be issued. A 25% Restocking Fee will be charged.

An RMA (Return Material Authorization) number is required to return any ValueRail Pro™ product. Please print and complete the RMA form and mail (P.O. Box 89 Waukesha, WI 53187) or fax (262-549-3466) it directly to ValueRail Pro™ Customer Support for authorization. Your request will be processed promptly and you will be advised of your Return Authorization Number (RMA) which must be referenced on your return shipping paperwork.

RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.

A copy of the RMA form with the RMA number MUST be included with the returned product. Using a marking pen, please write the RMA number on the outside of the packaging material and make sure that the RMA Number is visible on all sides.

All returned goods require stable and secure packing, wrapping, or banding to a pallet sufficient to protect the product(s) during transport. Required packing steps, include:

  1. Wrap in foam or bubble wrap to cushion and protect each product.
  2. Secure ValueRail Pro™ to a pallet with banding or stretch wrap.
  3. Write the RMA number on the outside of the protective packing material.

Use a traceable carrier for transport as they will provide you with a tracking number and proof of delivery.

ALL RETURNS WILL BE VOIDED AND REFUSED IF THE PRODUCT IS RECEIVED UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

  1. Product was damaged during transport as a result of bad packaging.
  2. Product is damaged, scratched, and in poor condition.
  3. Products do not match the quantity and description on the RMA Form.

AGREEMENT

I understand that the ValueRail Pro™ I am returning must include the approved RMA number and RMA form.  It will also be shipped pre-paid and properly packed to prevent unnecessary damage, otherwise credit will not be issued and the material will be returned to me at my cost, or scrapped without further notice.

Personal Data

Personal information provided by you may be used only by ValueRail Pro™. We do not rent, sell, or otherwise distribute to others any information about our customers. We may provide basic information to third party agents (such as freight companies) who have been hired to deliver your order. While we use all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your information, ValueRail Pro™ will not be responsible for disclosure of any information due to errors in transmission or the unauthorized acts of third parties.

Non-Personal Data

All information transmitted through ValueRail.com is processed on our secure server. We utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the electronic commerce standard for securing information as it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is designed to encrypt your information, preventing an unauthorized party from viewing and downloading your information. Your browser should display ValueRail Pro™ with an “https” prefix, indicating that the SSL technology is functioning properly when using specific sections of our website (Checkout page, etc.).

Sales Tax Policy

State-specific sales taxes will be automatically added to your total order (Product + Freight) unless your State does not collect tax on freight or you have a valid Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate. For confirmation of tax-exempt status, please Fax your Tax Exemption Certificate to the ValueRail Pro™ Tax Department, Fax: 262-549-3466. Your ValueRail Pro™ order can not be confirmed unless we receive your certificate and can validate your exemption from sales tax payment.

In general, you are not required to pay sales tax if you are a:

  • Business purchasing goods for resale.
  • Charitable or Religious Organization that uses the goods in the course of your regular charitable or religious functions.
  • Federal, State or Local Government agency that uses the goods in the course of your regular government functions.
  • Business purchasing goods with a “direct pay permit” issued by specific States. If this is the case, please Fax your permit to ValueRail Pro™ for confirmation.
